Chicken Salad

I really think a chicken is a great source of protein. Try this healthy chicken salad to fuel the rest of your day.

  • 1 deboned chicken breast
  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Water crest and spinach
  • Avocado

Add the chicken breast to a pot of boiling water for about 5 minutes. Remove the chicken breast from the water and cut slits into the breast. Empty some of the water from the pot. Try to raise the chicken about the water by using a metal strainer and close the lid of the pot. This will allow the chicken to steam, allow it to steam for about 15 minutes. Check to see if the chicken is done and serve with a salad.

Here I have just made a basic chicken salad. Chicken is steamed to preserve the moisture and flavor of the chicken.
