Food to eat:

  • Green vegetables such as parsley, watercress, celery and kale
  • Seaweeds, Carrot,s Spirulina, Barley and wheat grass products (anti-inflammatory and detoxifying)
  • Avocados, Pecan nuts and Soy products
  • Whole grains such as brown rice, millet, oats and wheat
  • Fresh water fish such as salmon, sardines or herring

Food to avoid:

  • Calcium inhibitors
  • Red meat, dairy, eggs and chicken
  • Alcohol, coffee and excess salt
  • Refined sugar and too many sweets
  • Foods high in oxalic acid such as Rhubarb, Cranberries, Plums and Spinach

Nightshades (Groups of vegetables and herbs that can compromise joint movement)

  • Tomatoes, Eggplant, Potatoes, Peppers, Tobacco
